Philip Rees fell in love with choral music as an eight year old when his parents were given a complete recording of Messiah. His work as a professional musician and teacher has encompassed a large range of styles and ensembles. Philip conducted his first concert with the Central Coast Philharmonia in 1984 as a new arrival to the area with his young family. He has been with the choir since then as a singer, accompanist, orchestral player, assistant conductor and as the musical director.
